I have wrote this text at school before our cruise, on 7th January.
"An uplifting experience
One of the most uplifting things I have even experienced is high school's third graders' cruise. We had our cruise on 16th to 17th January but most Finnish third graders have it on 13th to 14th February. If I can say, traditionally third graders' is always in February just before the winter holiday. But Eurajoki senior secondary school students have their own tradition to take the cruise without all other school and third graders.
What is the idea about that kind of cruise? Firstly, take a break! All third graders are reading and studying hard, or at least trying to do so, before our final exams. The first exam will be on 5th February so our cruise gave a good little break before that. Secondly, to create team spirit. Third graders won't spend a lot of time together at school after the cruise. Anyway, I'm sure we will have a better time together for those few weeks. Last but not least, have fun! Having fun all together helped to forget all the stress about school and exams.
How was our cruise? Third graders met at school at four o'clock in the evening and at eight o'clock our ferry left Turku. Then we had many hours time to party, dance, listen to music and spend time with friends. A few hours' sleep in the cabin and yhen second day's plans. Everybody didn't have so many plans but me and my friends went to the buffee lunch and bought some souvenirs."
