Tuesday 26.5.2015 Lipstick revolution

Heart diseases are the most typical cause of death for Finnish women. Every year heart diseases take 11 000 women.

Today we encourage women to take care of themselves little by little. We use red lipstick to show women's heart health is close to our hearts.

Did you wear red lipstick today?

Sunday 24.5.2015 Football, sun, cottage, birthday

Hi guys!

How was your weekend?

I had a really good one. On Friday I went to Kuivalahti to finish my graduation cookies. In this area we didn't find any bakery that could do gluten free cookies but my grandmother's sister did it. I am very happy now! And pretty proud of us because we finished more than 150 cookies... And this looks really nice.

In the evening I went to Eura.

Saturday morning I woke up after 7am because it was so so windy outside. Like a storm. Hrrr! Felt lucky to continue sleeping inside the house. After 8am I got out of the bed and went to center. I needed to find student cap, some frames, ear rings and some other jewellery. Find everything but jewellery and cap ara coming later. Hopefully before graduation day!!

Afternoon my love had a football game so I went to look at it. Good game guys, they won 6-0. Ironic...

Weather was so damn good! Couldn't feel storm at all anymore.

In the evening we went to our summer cottage to celebrate my friend's 19th birthday.

Guys (6 guys!) tried pretty long to grill our sausages. Seriously it seemed to be very very difficult! But I can say that I am hopeless with grills and other stuffs so I have ti be happy I got some grilled food. Haha!

We almost lost to get some grilled sausages so took some cheesecake.

Later we went to sauna and swimming and ate a bit more. Really good party, thanks everybody!

Today we woke up late, cleaned cottage and went to home.

Thursday 21.5.2015 Eurovision

Hi guys, how are you?

Finland's Eurovision music competition representative was Pertti Kurikan nimipäivät (in English Pertti Kurikka's nameday). I am very happy that this group represented Finland! That's because they were and still are a group of adults with developmental disabilities. It's very nice that they are so brave to go this competition and meet a big big music world. But especially I am happy that we other Finns were brave enought to choose them. Awesome, nice and beautiful job!

I sent invitation cards to my graduation feast on Monday and wanted Pertti Kurikan nimipäivät stamps to them. Do you like their stamps? I think the idea is mist important and Pertti Kurikka with his band really have an idea.

I'm not a big fan of punk but their song has a nice idea and word. In Finnish. So I can explain it. Song is called Always I have to. They sing about things we all have to do every day like wake up, rest, take a shower and not eat too much candies for example.

Whole thing is good way to show other people that they are with developmental disabilities but they are as good and importan as all other peoples. They are different but we all are, there isn't more than one you so we should understand all differences no matter what.

Wednesday 6.5.2015 International No Diet Day

Losing weight is every day thing now. Almost all women have tried to lose weight and every day younger and younger girls try to lose weight. Men also do it. People think they will be happier if they aren't that heavy.

People expect they should lose weight and just because "everybody" do so. In our culture we often think that skinny means succesfull and active. And over weight person is same than lazy and stupid.

People often lose weight wrong and unhealthy way. Doing sport too much or fasting aren't healthy ways and often kilos come back. Or person get eating disorder. We don't talk enought about risks of losing weight.

No Diet Day reminds people to approciate their body and not to lose weight at least one day. No matter about size. The most important thing is to live healthy and stay health.

No Diet Day's mother is Mary Evans Young from Great Britain. She has also suffered eating disorder. In Great Britain they had remember this day since 1992 and in Finland since 2008.

Sunday 3.5.2015 First of May weekend

 Hi guys!

Still alive after first of May?

Was it a good weekend?

I had really good weekend after a bit hassle. But good long weekend with my love so no matter.

On Thursday

I went to school because needed a bit help. I'm making my graduation dress by myself. Little sneak peek...

I went to cousins' place to see their new puppy. It's so so small, 1,5 kg, super cute and lovely, love to come close and play a bit, very energy little girl called Kulta. Name means Honey or Gold, how ever you want to think this Finnish word.

In the evening love came.

On Friday

On the morning we went to gym and later to the cottage. Sauna, swimming (hrrr it was so cold, my second time this year), good food, love, cousins and dogs. Really nice! But when I reach to home I realized that I had car's key and car was at the cottage. I went to the cottage by our own car but cane home with love. Mum and bro planned to come by our car. But because I had key I had to take a bike and ride back to the cottage right away. Haha awesome! One gym training wasn't enought so rode a bike 15 km...

On Saturday

I went to Pori for a shopping...

For instance

And I'm a country girl and Pori is a too big city, haha...

After shopping took a meal with love and then went to Eura. In the evening we watched movie "3096 days" that tolds about Natascha Kampusch, a girl who kidnapped when she was 10 years old and she lived 8 years with her kidnapper. In 1998 she escaped and that's a true story. I think movie was quite good but really oppressive.

On Sunday

Today we watched volleyball, walked to center to buy ice cream, jumped at trampoline and just spent time together.

Daddy and Mini spent long weekend at cottage in Jyväskylä and today they came back home too. In Jyväskylä there was a bit snow when they went!

Now in the evening we are watching Finland - Denmark ice hockey. Now it's 3-0 so I wish we are gonna win this play...
