Just before a winter holiday we enjoyed high school's second graders' proms. Some of my friends danced this year. Girls had so so beautiful dresses, I loved all. And guys were really handsome. And they danced really beautifully.
I danced proms last year and I have to say it was the best think at high school. Absolutely! It was a real princess day for girls at least.
Wanhat 2015 is gone but girls who are going to dance next year will be interest in to know things they should know. Many bloggers share tips but I wish to tell something also.
Dress
Dresses might be very expencive, even 700 €! But you don't have to use so much money and you still can find the dress. I made my stress by myself so if you can it is really good idea. Your dress is unique, it looks just like you want it looks like, you can chooce color, style, material and decoration. If you don't want to do your dress then you can buy it (you can find dress much cheaper than 700 €!) or rent from shop or friend. Many girls who are going to dance 2016 maybe have some ideas what kind of dress she wants. If no, don't worry! Girls should go to shops, ask help and test different dresses. It is the best way to find your dream dress.
Hairs
If you, your friend, mother, some of your relatives,... can make your hairstyle you could save time, money, your nerves and your hairstyle is just what you want. If you want that hairdresser do your hairstyle you should make an appointment early enought. Maybe you have to buy some stuffs before you meet your hairdresser. And ask hairdresser to do test hairstyle so you can be sure I get what you want. Ask hairdressers price before the day. If you don't have to take your hairstyle day before don't do so! You need all possible sleep and I am sure nobody can sleep very well with big hairstyle. It is smaller bad to wake up earlier.
Makeup
Again if you can do it or your friend can do it you can save money. And often your makeup looks like more your own. If you want that specialist do it you should make an appointment early enought. If you want make your morning easier I recommend specialist's fake lashes.
Nails
If you don't want use too much money you can make your nails by yourself. I think it looks very good if you use white, invisible or same color as your dress nailpolish and maybe some glitter nailpolish as well. And audience can't see difference between 5€ nails and 50€ nails but your wallet feel it.
Shoes
Very important! Day is very long and with unfit shoes it will be even longer. I had pretty high heels but it was ok because shoes were very good and fit perfectly. I think you can chooce if you want use hills or flat shoes but of you are really short I prefer at least little hills. But please, you have to can walk and dance with hills or it is just embarrassing. And anyway you should use your shoes at home and on dancing lessons so you can be sure that your shoes fit well. That's why it might be clever to use older shoes if possible.
Tights
I prefer using tights but you have to test your shoes, which one is better, with or without tights? Tights are quite invisible but test it also before prom day.
Underwear
Test your underwear with dress! You don't want to get any troubles like everybody can see your bra or worse they see more. If possible use bra because it just looks much better. Believe it, please! And remember day is long so underwears should be comfortable. Neutral color is the most clever.
Jewellery
Don't take too big or heavy ones. Remember that you can use old ones.
Remember that you fon't have to waste all of your money! Day will be wonderful anyway.
The most important tip is enjoy! Day will be so nice so relax and enjoy it!
